Condition and description
What we write about a car's condition is our honest assessment on the day we inspected it, based on what we could see and test without dismantling it. Corrosion, filler, wear and older repairs can hide. A fifty-year-old car is a fifty-year-old car: read the condition report, ask for photographs of anything that matters, and inspect the car yourself or have it inspected before you buy.
Availability and prices
A car is available until it is sold, and a listing can be out of date for a few hours after a sale. Prices, equipment and specifications on this site may change without notice. The price in the listing, and the buyer's order you sign, are what count.
Restoration estimates
An estimate is an estimate: it covers the work described in it. If a car reveals something else once it is apart, we stop and re-quote before continuing. An estimate is never a promise that nothing else will be found under fifty years of paint and underseal.
